Restaurant Jadran (Kod Krsta)

A long-standing, always-busy fish restaurant set right on the old Budva marina, with rows of white-linen tables running down to the water's edge and a nautical, model-ship-and-marlin dining room behind. Fresh fish and seafood, seafood pasta, grilled catch and shellfish, share the menu with grilled Montenegrin classics, and the harbour-side setting makes it a Budva institution. The kitchen sums itself up in three lines: fresh fish straight from the sea to the plate every day, meat grilled over charcoal, and home cooking it describes as its grandmothers' recipes. Tables can be booked over WhatsApp from the restaurant's own site, which is the practical move in July and August.
