Which area?

Bečići is small and strung along its beach, so almost anywhere works — but each stretch has its own character.

Beachfront

The main strip right on Bečići Beach — the big resort hotels, sea views and the promenade on your doorstep. Busiest and most convenient.

Rafailovići

The quieter fishing-village end, with seafood konobas at the water's edge and a calmer, more local feel. Still an easy walk along the sand.

Toward Budva

The stretch between Bečići and Budva — handy for hopping into Budva's old town and nightlife while staying near the beach.

Kamenovo

Over the headland at the next cove — a smaller, quieter beach for a more relaxed base a short drive or walk away.

Booking Tips

When to Book

July and August are peak — book well ahead for beachfront rooms. June and September offer warm sea with better availability and lower prices; May and October are quieter still.

Budget Guide

Prices swing sharply with the season — lowest in spring and autumn, highest in July and August. Hostels and simple apartments are the cheapest options, the beachfront resorts the priciest. Most properties take cards, but confirm before arriving.

Location Matters

The beachfront puts you on the sand near the promenade and bars; Rafailovići is quieter and best for seafood; and staying toward Budva keeps its old town and nightlife within easy reach.

Where to Stay in Bečići — FAQ

How expensive are hotels in Bečići?+

It varies by season. Bečići is a resort town, so beachfront hotels are at their priciest in July and August and much better value in May, June, September and October. Guesthouses and apartments a little back from the sand are cheaper, and the quieter Rafailovići end tends to cost less than the main beach.

Which hotels have the best sea views?+

The large hotels lining Bečići Beach and the promenade look straight out over the Adriatic. Ask for a front-facing, higher-floor room, as rates and views vary by floor and orientation.

Should I stay near the airport?+

No. The nearest airport, Tivat (TIV), is about 23 km away — a 30-minute drive — so there is no reason to base yourself out there. Stay in Bečići or Budva and use a taxi or transfer for the ride.

Is Bečići good for a longer or self-catering stay?+

Yes. Alongside the resort hotels there are plenty of apartments and aparthotels along the beach and toward Budva. For a week or more, a self-catering apartment gives you a kitchen, a balcony and more space just back from the sand.

Do I need a car when staying in Bečići?+

Not for Bečići and Budva themselves — the promenade links them on foot and taxis are easy. Rent a car only for day trips that are awkward by public transport, such as the Bay of Kotor, Lovćen or Skadar Lake.
