From Tivat Airport
West and south along the Adriatic Highway (Jadranska magistrala) around the coast via Budva.

By plane, road, bus or boat -- Bečići sits on the Budva Riviera and is easy to reach.
The nearest airport is Tivat (TIV), about 23 km and a 30-minute drive up the coast via Budva. Montenegro's main airport, Podgorica (TGD), is roughly 65 km away, and Dubrovnik (DBV) in Croatia is a further summer option across the border. Taxis, private transfers and car hire cover the run from each.
Bečići sits just off the Adriatic Highway (Jadranska magistrala), the coast road that threads the whole Montenegrin seaboard, a few kilometres southeast of Budva. It is an easy drive from the airports and from anywhere along the coast.
West and south along the Adriatic Highway (Jadranska magistrala) around the coast via Budva.
Southwest toward the coast at Budva, then the short coast road on to Bečići.
South along the Adriatic Highway around the Bay of Kotor and through Budva.
South down the Adriatic coast with a border crossing at Debeli Brijeg, then on via Kotor and Budva.
Budva is the local transport hub, a short hop away. Its bus station links the coast with the rest of Montenegro and neighbouring countries, and in summer regular local buses and taxi-boats shuttle between Budva and Bečići. From Bečići itself, taxis and transfers are the easiest way onward.
Three airports serve the Budva Riviera, from nearest to largest.
| Airport | Distance | Travel Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tivat (TIV) | ~23 km northwest | ~30 min by car | The nearest airport, on the Bay of Kotor, with seasonal flights across Europe. Reached by taxi or private transfer along the coast via Budva. |
| Podgorica (TGD) | ~65 km northeast | ~1.5 hr by car | Montenegro's main airport, with year-round flights. About an hour and a half by car or transfer to the coast. |
| Dubrovnik (DBV, Croatia) | ~90 km by road | ~2–2.5 hr by car | Just over the border in Croatia and busy in summer; the drive involves a border crossing. |
Bečići is compact and built along a single seafront, so most visitors get around on foot, with taxis, buses and summer boats for anything further.
The resort is best explored on foot. The seaside promenade runs the length of the beach and continues around the headland to Budva and south to Rafailovići, so most of the day can be done without transport.
In summer, local buses and taxi-boats connect Bečići with Budva and other points along the Riviera, and Budva's bus station links onward to Kotor, Podgorica and beyond. Timetables are seasonal, so check locally before you set out.
Taxis are plentiful and the easiest way to reach the airport, Sveti Stefan or the Bay of Kotor. Agree the fare or make sure the meter is running before you set off.
A car is not needed in the resort itself, but it is handy for exploring the wider coast -- Kotor, Sveti Stefan and the national parks inland. Rental desks operate at the airports and in Budva.

Airport Wi-Fi is fine for the first ride, but mobile data matters the moment you step outside -- for ride-hailing apps, offline maps, and checking bus and boat times on the go. A Montenegro eSIM activated before departure connects automatically when you land.

From Tivat it is about a 30-minute drive along the coast via Budva by taxi or pre-booked transfer; from Podgorica, around an hour and a half. Taxis and private transfers are the simplest options, and car hire is available at both airports.
Bečići is only about 3 km from Budva. In summer, local buses and taxi-boats run between the two, and you can also walk the seaside promenade around the headland or take a short taxi ride.
Not for the resort itself — the beach, promenade and Budva are all walkable or a short taxi away. A car is useful for day trips further along the coast, to the Bay of Kotor, or to the national parks inland.
On foot, mostly. The beachfront promenade links Bečići with Budva and Rafailovići, and taxis are easy to find. Local buses and summer boats connect to Budva, and car hire is available for exploring further afield.
