Your complete guide to Bečići
Sun, sand and the Adriatic, right below Budva.
One of Montenegro’s most famous sandy beaches, the resorts along the promenade, seafood konobas in Rafailovići, and day trips to Budva, Sveti Stefan and the Bay of Kotor — a complete, honest guide to Bečići, updated every season.

Bay of Kotor Boat Tour
The fjord-like Bay of Kotor is the headline day trip from Bečići, and the easiest way to take it in is from the water. Boat tours thread past the walled towns of Kotor and Perast and stop at the islet church of Our Lady of the Rocks, with the grey Lovćen and Orjen mountains rising straight out of the sea on every side. Most trips run as full-day excursions from Budva, a short hop up the coast from Bečići.

Watersports on Bečići Beach
Bečići's long sandy beach is the Riviera's watersports hub through the summer. Concessions along the sand hire out jet-skis, pedalos and paddleboards, tow banana boats and inflatables, and run parasailing flights that lift you over the bay for a bird's-eye look at the coast. There is a floating aqua-park just offshore for younger swimmers, and calm morning water for anyone who just wants to paddle out.

Budva–Bečići Seaside Promenade Walk
A paved seaside promenade runs the length of the Budva Riviera, and the stretch linking Bečići with Rafailovići and on into Budva is one of the nicest flat walks on the coast. It hugs the shoreline past beach bars, konobas and little marinas, with the Adriatic on one side and the mountains behind — an easy stroll at any time of day, and a favourite at sunset.
FeaturedBečići Beach
Bečići's long crescent of fine sand and gravel is one of Montenegro's best-known beaches — a broad, gently shelving strand backed by resort hotels and a seafront promenade, with clear Adriatic water below the coastal mountains.

Rafailovići
A small former fishing village at the northern end of Bečići Beach, where wooden boats still moor off a compact harbour lined with seafood konobas and terraces right at the water's edge.

Sveti Stefan
A tiny fortified islet of terracotta-roofed stone houses joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus — once a fishing village, now an exclusive resort and one of the most photographed sights on the Montenegrin coast.

Budva Old Town
A walled medieval town of marble lanes, churches and a citadel above the sea — the Riviera's historic heart, a short walk or drive up the coast.

Sveti Stefan
The iconic fortified islet joined to shore by a causeway — Montenegro's most photographed view, seen from the coast road or the beaches below.

Bay of Kotor
A UNESCO-listed, fjord-like bay ringed by mountains, with the walled city of Kotor and the baroque town of Perast and its islands.

Restaurant Atlantic
SeafoodOne of Rafailovići's most popular seafood restaurants, set in a leafy garden terrace a few steps back from the water. Before You Go
The questions every first-timer asks us.
Yes. Bečići has one of Montenegro's most famous beaches — a long, roughly 2 km sweep of fine sand and gravel on the Budva Riviera — backed by resort hotels and a seaside promenade, with Budva's old town, Sveti Stefan and the Bay of Kotor all a short trip away.
Two to three days is enough for the beach, the promenade walk to Budva, and a seafood dinner in Rafailovići. Add a day or two for day trips to Sveti Stefan, the Bay of Kotor, and Lovćen or Skadar Lake.
The nearest airport is Tivat (TIV), about 23 km and 30 minutes away by car; Podgorica (TGD) is roughly 65 km. Bečići sits on the Adriatic Highway just southeast of Budva, and local buses, taxis and summer boats connect it with Budva.
June to September for the beach and warm Adriatic sea, with July and August the busiest. May and October are quieter shoulder months with fewer crowds and mild weather.
Bečići Beach itself is the main draw. The adjoining fishing village of Rafailovići and the quieter cove of Kamenovo are a short walk away, and Budva's Mogren beach and the beaches below Sveti Stefan are close by.
Its long sandy beach — one of Montenegro's most celebrated — beachfront resort hotels, a seaside promenade linking Budva and Rafailovići, fresh Adriatic seafood, and easy access to Budva Old Town and Sveti Stefan.
