The beach built Bečići's reputation as a Budva Riviera resort — famously winning a Grand Prix in Paris in 1935 as the most beautiful beach in Europe — and its roughly 1,950 m of sand still anchors the town's summer season.

Yes — it is a long crescent of fine sand and gravel, a broad, gently shelving strand backed by resort hotels and a seafront promenade, with clear Adriatic water below the coastal mountains. It is one of Montenegro's best-known beaches.
Yes. The seafront promenade runs the length of the beach and continues north-west around the headland to Budva, about 2.5–3 km away — an easy, flat walk right along the water. Rafailovići lies in the opposite direction, at the south-east end of the bay, roughly 15 minutes on foot.
